To get pictures from a Web page (unless you want a higher-res version that Erin might have), just make your browser a little smaller so it doesn't take up the whole screen, click on the picture and don't let up on the mouse, then just drag the mouse over your desktop, release the mouse button and a copy of the picture will then be saved on your desktop. If you open up a folder on your hard drive, you can drag a picture right into the folder (to keep your desktop clear).
BTW, if you know where your browser's cache is, you might find that all the pictures of sites you've recently visited are stored right on your hard drive. And more than pictures - you remember that "jib-jab" animation that was popular awhile ago and how they were charging a couple of bucks to send people a copy by e-mail? I taught my friends how to just fish it back out of their own PCs!
Hi Erin! well, I've got an idea... I thought that for Christmas or Xmas (why an "X" actually?) you could put on your blog a picture of you wearing (actually I don't know the word in english so I'm gonna describe it! lol) the red stuff that Santas Claus has on his head, and why not a sign with something written on it for your readers, to wish us a merry christmas... Now it's up to you (uhm, I'm not really sure of that expression) I thought it could be funny and quite personel... I'll check in few days if you did it! lol Bye and have a nice Christmas Holidays!
