Delicious?

I'm a fan of Trader Joes. I'm sure I've mentioned it before. They offer good food, typically healthier stuff than at the grocery stores, that's easy to prepare & at reasonable prices. But today when I was on my weekly visit to TJ's to stock up on supplies for school lunches, I saw an item that made me say "Ewww" out loud! I'm a firm believer that almost anything tastes better with chocolate on it. But Trader Joe's may have gone too far with their latest creation: chocolate covered edamame! Don't get me wrong, I like edamame. I eat a little bowl every time I have sushi, but the thought of it covered with chocolate just seems wrong. I may take the plunge & try it. I hate to condemn a food I haven't tasted. If anyone has tried it & thinks it's delicious, let me know.

Hmm... I've got a fridge full of edamames and some leftover Halloween chocolate, so I'll let you know if I get ambitious.

Unfortunately, every time I find myself in the same room with that basket of supremely evil candy, I tend to lose track of things, and the next thing I know, I'm sitting on the couch beneath a blanket of miniature candy wrappers.

Wow, Hi.
I found you somehow and I like your blog. Why did it take so long for me to find you? As I read through the old posts, it looks like you are posting less and less often. That's a shame. I look forward to reading more.

There's nothing wrong with condemning food you haven't tried. I will never eat sushi because I don't like the concept of it or even how it looks. I've tasted chocolate and I've tasted edamame and I can tell you as someone who has been cooking for 25 years, it will not be good. Of course now that I've told you I don't like sushi..... :)
